New Beginnings a Gift in Time

New beginnings will always have a starting place, with the mystery of the unknown shadowing their conception. Otherwise they would not be new, the start of something to be learned or done for the very first time. We can all begin again at a task or in a commitment but they will never have the freshness of being brand new. I have had my share of them on this journey called life, some successful, some difficult, others that failed, but all of them left me with life lessons to ponder.

Sharing my thoughts and inspirations with others in this type of format is one of those new beginnings for me. The unknown world of blogging is one that both intrigues and scares me at the same time. I have so enjoy reading the blogs of others who inspire me by their lives. Causing me to take this first step of a new beginning that has been hiding in my heart for over a year. I definitely have alot to learn in order to make this enjoyable for you as I hope it will be for me. So please be patient as I learn and make mistakes, as I am sure I will.

Keeping track of my thoughts has been easy through the years by way of writing in journals. Portions of them I have read to my husband, who loves my writings and always encourages me, stating that I should write a book one day. I keep telling him that when I have gone home to be with the Lord, he can have the many journals lining our bookcase made into a book. So that in his retirement years maybe he will be able to live off the royalities from it. ;)

My purpose it starting this blog is to share my adventures, inspirations from the Lord, thoughts of life, observations of nature and photos with family and close friends. Hopefully making some new friends along the way. Sharing with those you love and care about is the best way I believe to encourage, lift up and be all that we were created to be. My goal in life is to make a difference in the lives of those who cross my path for the Lord's glory. After all it is HIS gift of life to me that gives me this opportunity.

I do not know what the future holds for my family and myself, so regular posting may not be an option, despite my desire to do so. I am sure of one thing, every day brings inspiration begging to be shared even if my time is not available to put it on paper. History has proven this over and over to be true in my life. Reflections from past days may be added from time to time as tidbits for you to savor. Their value I believe is still as relevant today as the day they crossed this mind of mine.

So for those of you who are up for the journey and some fun along the way. . .
welcome to Heartland Farm.

Deborah
